However, the thing that is bothering me the most is the Map View glitch, which did not occur before installation of Pets. I followed a Google search to the only detailed solution I could find to the graphics card/hardware problem ( ), but my DeviceConfig file shows only -Options- and -Default Options-, so that didn't work for me. The second thing I noticed was an outrageous and irritating Map View glitch ( more on that in a bit). The first thing that happened is that, out of the blue, it failed to recognize my hardware.
But today I purchased the Pets Expansion and installed it, and all of the sudden things are going wrong. Since I downloaded the Sims 3 on my brand new laptop (which meets all system requirements), it's worked flawlessly, especially with the Adventures and High-End Loft expansions that I have.
