Lastly, because it'd take significant dev time, they would want to recoup that in the form of a fee for acquiring it. Furthermore, to adapt it to the consoles would take a LOT more dev time than to release it for a setup for which it was designed to work on to begin with. Also, many game editors require even more hardware capacity than the game themselves, and the GECK can certainly eat it up. A mouse and keyboard are a veritable necessity. The GECK, like the Oblivion and Morrowind CSes before it, are very PC interface-dependent. If BethSoft did release an editor for the console, I guarantee there'd be complaints abound about how difficult it is to use with a controller. It's not like they're impossibly hard to use on a console or anything, look at the other great editors for games out there like FarCry Instincts. Bethesda never releases editors for console players. 2 New Vegas GECK on the 19th US release date?.
